The 1985 GMC NE: Wheel alignment
For a wheel alignment on your 1985 GMC NE, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Hitting a pothole hard can knock the wheels out of line.
Your car, your notes
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare.
Our part and the shop's part
You agree everything with the shop before work begins. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop.
Keep moving meanwhile
The rental is priced like any other on our site. A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
Getting a clear quote
Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.
Between shop visits
Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.
Send a request
Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
