Wheel alignment: how we help
Wheel alignment for the 1989 GMC NE: the work is done by a shop we trust, never by CarmaCars. Hitting a pothole hard can knock the wheels out of line.
Details the shop needs
Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare.
What to send us
We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.
A rental while you wait
If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Questions to ask the shop
Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.
Small things that help
Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.
Over to you
Send the car's details and the job, and we take the next step.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
