Details the shop needs
Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the WHS. If you have the service history of your WHS, have it ready for the shop.
What CarmaCars does here
You agree everything with the shop before work begins. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name.
A rental while you wait
Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. Delivery starts at $75 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
What to ask
If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.
Small things that help
Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
Talk to a person
Tell us the job and the car, and a person replies.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
