Wheel alignment: how we help
For a wheel alignment on the 2011 Scion xD, a trusted shop does the work and CarmaCars arranges it, with a rental if you need one. Hitting a pothole hard can knock the wheels out of line.
Details the shop needs
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. It uses the 1.8L 4-cylinder and front-wheel drive.
Our part and the shop's part
Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. We keep you posted until the car is booked in.
Keep moving meanwhile
Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
What to ask
Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
Between shop visits
Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
When you know your dates
Need a rental too? Add it to the same request.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
