The 2005 Ford Excursion: Winter tires
Your 2005 Ford Excursion needs a winter tire change? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it and rent you a car meanwhile. Winter tires are worth fitting before the first snow.
Your Excursion and the shop
If you have the service history of your Excursion, have it ready for the shop. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
How we help
The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job.
Driving while yours is at the shop
Rent by the day while the shop has your car. If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
Between shop visits
Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.
What to ask
If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.
When you know your dates
Start with the car, the job and your location.
Request winter tires
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
