The Lucid Gravity: Winter tires
Winter tires for the Lucid Gravity: the work is done by a shop we trust, never by CarmaCars. Swapping to winter tires in fall and back in spring is the usual routine.
Your Gravity and the shop
If you have the service history of your Gravity, have it ready for the shop. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
What CarmaCars does here
We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.
A car while yours is in the shop
Rent by the day while the shop has your car. Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
Talking to the shop
Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up.
Between shop visits
Check that all lights work every few weeks. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.
Talk to a person
Describe the problem, and we arrange a trusted shop.
Request winter tires
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
