The 2021 Subaru Forester Base: Winter tires

Your 2021 Subaru Forester Base needs a winter tire change? We arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Tires are swapped, balanced and checked for wear, and the shop sets its own price and time.

Before the shop sees your Forester

Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Tell the shop the year, the trim and the engine: the 2.5L 4-cylinder. All-wheel drive cars are fussy about matching tires; replace them as a set when the shop advises it. The powertrain here is the 2.5L 4-cylinder with all-wheel drive and an automatic (CVT).

How we help

You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job.

A short checklist

Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.

Small things that help

Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.

A note on Kellerman

Request winter tires

Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
