Battery Boost in Java, SC

Battery Boost for Java

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Java is about 1,072 km away. The job: A boost for a dead battery, by a roadside service we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A slow crank on a cold morning is often the first sign of a tired battery.

Who does what

We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental.

Car care, briefly

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Look at the tire tread before long trips. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.

A short checklist

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon.
