Car Diagnostics in Eclipse, VA

Car Diagnostics in Eclipse

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Eclipse. A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

What to send us

We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

Car care, briefly

Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.

A short checklist

If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.
