Engine Repair in Eclipse, VA

Getting it done

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Eclipse. In short: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

The steps

Your request reaches a person, not a machine. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental.

Questions to ask the shop

Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.

Between shop visits

Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.

Our area and Eclipse

Eclipse is not an area we serve directly. CarmaCars is based in Toronto. Eclipse lies about 796 km from our location in Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 250 km.

If we do not know a shop in Eclipse, we say so rather than guess. If the car can come to the Toronto area, we can arrange a trusted shop there. Questions about Eclipse? Send a request and a person answers honestly. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

When you know your dates

A short request starts it: the car, the problem, and when suits you.
