Car Diagnostics in Maple, WV

Arranging the work in Maple

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 459 km from Maple, and does not do this work itself. What this is: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

Who does what

If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. A person reads every request and replies with the next step. A person replies within one business day. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

Small things that help

Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair.

Talking to the shop

If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.
