Shopping for a car in Maple

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Rent it before you buy it

Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

What to check before you buy

Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

Bridging the gap

Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.
