The useful parts

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Your bookings, receipts and agreements are in your account. Rent by the day, by the week, or up to 365 days at a time.

Who rents this way

Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

Before pickup

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

Requesting a car

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
