Car Inspection in Ruby, LA

Arranging the work in Ruby

For an inspection in Ruby, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. What it involves: A mechanical inspection, for example before you buy a used car, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An inspection before you buy a used car can save you from an expensive surprise.

Who does what

We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location.

Small things that help

Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.

Talking to the shop

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.
