Engine Repair in Ruby, LA

Getting it done

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Ruby is about 1,802 km away. Plainly: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

What to send us

We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. A person reads every request and replies with the next step. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile.

Small things that help

Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.

Where we are

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Ruby. The distance is about 1,802 km in a straight line, more than our delivery area of 250 km.

If the car can come to the Toronto area, we can arrange a trusted shop there. For a breakdown in Ruby, a local service will reach you faster than we can. Ask us about Ruby in a request; a person answers honestly. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
