Emissions Test in Appleton, SC

Getting it done

If you need an emissions test in Appleton: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. What it involves: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

From request to repair

We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price.

Talking to the shop

If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.

Good habits for your car

Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
