Winter Tires in Appleton, SC

Getting it done

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Appleton is about 1,205 km away. Winter tires bought or put on for the season, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Tread depth matters for grip in rain and snow; the shop measures it.

Our part and the shop's part

The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car.

Talking to the shop

Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.

Car care, briefly

Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair.
