Emissions Test in Shelltown, MD

Getting it done

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Shelltown. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

Our part and the shop's part

You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. A person reads every request and replies with the next step. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job.

Before the shop starts

Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.

Between shop visits

Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.

A Toronto company

We are based in Toronto; Shelltown is not somewhere we have a location. Shelltown lies about 711 km from our location in Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 250 km.

We know shops around Toronto best; for Shelltown, we say plainly what we can do. If we do not know a shop in Shelltown, we say so rather than guess. A request about Shelltown gets an honest answer from a person. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.

When you know your dates

One request: the job, the car, and whether you need a rental meanwhile.
