Trade In in Shelltown

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells.

Why rent first

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

Checks worth doing

For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts.

Between cars

Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week.

Renting from Toronto

CarmaCars works from one location in Toronto and does not operate in Shelltown. Shelltown lies about 705 km from central Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 80 km.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Shopping in Shelltown? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Send a request about Shelltown, and we reply with a clear yes or no. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
