Engine Repair in Appleton

Arranging the work in Appleton

Engine Repair in Appleton: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

The steps

Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

Between shop visits

Check that all lights work every few weeks. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.

A short checklist

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.

A Toronto company

We do not have a location in Appleton; CarmaCars works out of Toronto. About 310 km separate central Toronto and Appleton, far past our 80 km delivery area.

We know shops around Toronto best; for Appleton, we say plainly what we can do. If the car can come to the Toronto area, we can arrange a trusted shop there. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Appleton if you like. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

One more step

One request: the job, the car, and whether you need a rental meanwhile.
