People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

Why CarmaCars

There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking, or renew it. Renting month to month means no long commitment and no buyout at the end. Rates are set per car, so you can choose by budget. A request is free and commits you to nothing.

What we need from you

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

What to expect when you book

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Send a request

Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
