Luup Alternative for Rideshare Drivers in Appleton

How renting works in Appleton

Luup Alternative for Rideshare Drivers in Appleton: CarmaCars is a Toronto company, so here is what we can and cannot do. One thing to know: A car for Uber, Lyft or delivery work, rented from CarmaCars directly. Tell us when you book. Weekly and monthly rates first: trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and one booking runs up to 365 days and renews. Luup, Uber and Lyft are named only to describe what you compared and the work; CarmaCars is not affiliated with, approved or endorsed by any of them. The offer shows the full price before you pay anything.

A note on distance

Appleton is not an area we serve directly. CarmaCars is based in Toronto. Appleton is about 295 km from our location, and our delivery area is about 250 km.

If you live in the Toronto area and need a car for a trip to Appleton, we can help with that. If you need a car in Appleton itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

Who this suits

Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then. Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase.

Why this works

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. If the car you want is taken, we suggest the closest match we have. One small team handles your request from start to finish.

Requesting a car

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

Before you rent

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

Over to you

If something here is unclear, ask in your request; we reply in plain words.
