Engine Repair in Northside, Berkeley

Engine Repair in Northside

For engine work in Northside, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

What to send us

We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer.

Car care, briefly

Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.

Getting a clear quote

Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
