Engine Repair in North Berkeley, Berkeley

Engine Repair near North Berkeley

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 3,636 km from North Berkeley, and does not do this work itself. What it involves: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

How the arrangement works

Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair.

Small things that help

Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Check that all lights work every few weeks. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.

Questions to ask the shop

If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
