Auto Loans in North Berkeley, Berkeley

Before you buy in North Berkeley

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. We are not a dealership, and we do not arrange loans or leases. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Drive it like you own it

Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

Before you sign

For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure.

While you shop

Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one.

Our area and North Berkeley
