Car Financing in North Berkeley, Berkeley

Before you buy in North Berkeley

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

A test drive that lasts

If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

Before you sign

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

A car meanwhile

A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives.

Our area

Plainly: we do not have a location in North Berkeley. CarmaCars is a Toronto company. About 3,628 km from central Toronto, North Berkeley is too far for our delivery area of about 80 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. For buying in North Berkeley, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Ask us about North Berkeley in a request; a person answers honestly. Every rate on this site is in Canadian dollars.
