Engine Repair in Plainview, SD

Getting it done

Searching for engine repair in Plainview? CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our shops are in the Toronto area. What this is: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

What to send us

Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies.

Good habits for your car

Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.

Honest about distance
