Towing in Plainview, SD

Towing: how we help

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 1,822 km from Plainview, and does not do this work itself. In short: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. If the car is blocking traffic, stay safe first and call for help.

Who does what

You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven.

What to ask

Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.

Good habits for your car

Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
