Engine Repair in Wright, BC

Getting it done

We arrange engine work through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Wright. What it involves: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

Our part and the shop's part

You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair.

Getting a clear quote

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.

Good habits for your car

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.

Where we are

You will not find a CarmaCars location in Wright; we work from Toronto. Wright is about 3,240 km from our location, and our delivery area is about 80 km.

If the car can come to the Toronto area, we can arrange a trusted shop there. For work in Wright, ask in a request and we tell you honestly whether we know a shop there.
