When it makes sense

People with family in town who need a second car for a while. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

Worth knowing

Month to month, you keep the flexibility of a rental and skip the commitment of a lease. Renting month to month means no long commitment and no buyout at the end. Rent by the day, by the week, or up to 365 days at a time. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking.

What you need to rent

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

How it works

You ask for the car online with your dates, and you pay nothing to send it. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.
