Safety Certificate in Danforth, SD

Safety Certificate in Danforth

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 1,559 km from Danforth, and does not do this work itself. In short: A Safety Standards Certificate, needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy, issued by a licensed Motor Vehicle Inspection Station we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A used car you buy in Ontario needs a Safety Standards Certificate before it can be plated.

What to send us

Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile.

Talking to the shop

Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.

Good habits for your car

Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
