Only a licensed inspection station can issue a Safety Standards Certificate in Ontario.

How we help

We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop.

Talking to the shop

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.

Between shop visits

Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.
