Towing in Hampton, PE

Arranging the work in Hampton

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Hampton. What this is: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Tell us where the car is, where it should go, and whether the keys are with it.

The steps

Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done.

Good habits for your car

Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair.

Before the shop starts

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.

Distance, honestly

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Hampton. With Hampton about 1,270 km from Toronto, it is outside the 250 km we cover.

If the car can come to the Toronto area, we can arrange a trusted shop there. For a breakdown in Hampton, a local service will reach you faster than we can. Tell us what you are planning in Hampton, and we will say what we can and cannot do. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
