Towing in Ocean View, Berkeley

Towing: how we help

Towing in Ocean View: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. What this is: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Tell us where the car is, where it should go, and whether the keys are with it.

What to send us

The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car.

Between shop visits

Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.

A short checklist

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.
