Towing in Berkeley, CA

Towing in Berkeley

For a tow in Berkeley, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. What this is: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. If the car is blocking traffic, stay safe first and call for help.

From request to repair

We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. A person replies within one business day. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price.

Car care, briefly

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.

Talking to the shop

Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.

Reach and distance

CarmaCars is not in Berkeley. Our one location is in Toronto. With Berkeley about 3,636 km from Toronto, it is outside the 250 km we cover.

For a breakdown in Berkeley, a local service will reach you faster than we can. If the car can come to the Toronto area, we can arrange a trusted shop there. Write to us with the dates and the place, and we will give you a straight answer. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.

Talk to a person

A short request starts it: the car, the problem, and when suits you.
