Car Financing in Ocean View, Berkeley

Shopping for a car in Ocean View

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. We are not a dealership, and we do not arrange loans or leases. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Why rent first

Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

A buyer's checklist

Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package.

A car meanwhile

There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.

Our reach

Ocean View is not an area we serve directly. CarmaCars is based in Toronto. By straight line Ocean View is about 3,630 km from central Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 80 km delivery area.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. For anything about Ocean View, a request reaches a person who answers honestly. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.
