Wheel Alignment in Ames, IN

Getting it done

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Ames. The job: Wheels aligned so the car drives straight and the tires wear evenly, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A crooked steering wheel on a straight road is a common sign the alignment is off.

What to send us

We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. A person replies within one business day.

Getting a clear quote

If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.

Between shop visits

Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair.
