Buying a car in Fagg

Here is the honest answer for buyers: CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Try it for a week first

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

Buying smart in Ontario

Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches.

Between cars

Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal.
