Buying a car in Mapleton

CarmaCars does not sell cars, but before you buy one in Mapleton, a short rental can answer questions a test drive cannot. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Drive it like you own it

Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most.

A buyer's checklist

Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches.

While you shop

Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one.

A note on distance
