Buying a car in Mapleton

If a car to buy is what you need, know first that CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them; here is what we can do. Tell us the car you are looking for and we will help where we can, and you can rent a similar car first. We are happy to point you in the right direction, and to rent you a similar car to try.

Try it for a week first

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide.

Questions to ask

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit.

A car meanwhile

If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.

One more step

Rent it for a week, then decide: send a request with your dates.
