Buying a car in Plumtrees

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Try it for a week first

Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

Buying smart in Ontario

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

Before your next car arrives

There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.
