Buying a car in Roubaix

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Rent it before you buy it

If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

Checks worth doing

A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts.

Before your next car arrives

If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal.

CarmaCars and Roubaix

You will not find a CarmaCars location in Roubaix; we work from Toronto. The distance is about 1,938 km in a straight line, more than our delivery area of 80 km.

For buying in Roubaix, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Need something in Roubaix? Send a request and a person replies with an honest answer. Every rate on this site is in Canadian dollars.
