Auto Loans: what CarmaCars does
CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.
Why rent first
You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes.
Buying smart in Ontario
Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used.
Bridging the gap
