Buy a Car in Pendleton, VA

Before you buy in Pendleton

Searching for buy a car in Pendleton? To be clear, CarmaCars rents cars; it does not sell them. A rental of the same model for a week shows how it fits your commute, your parking and your family. Tell us the car you are looking for and we will help where we can, and you can rent a similar car first.

Try it for a week first

If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

Before you sign

Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

A car meanwhile

A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.
