Shopping for a car in Stratton

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Drive it like you own it

A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide.

Questions to ask

Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

Before your next car arrives

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date.
