How renting works in Stratton

Car Rental in Stratton: CarmaCars is a Toronto company, so here is what we can and cannot do. Here is the short version: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Every car on the site shows its own rates, deposit and kilometres included.

Our area and Stratton

A car from us can make the drive to Stratton; plan the kilometres against the allowance on the car's page. A trip from Ontario to Stratton needs our written consent before you leave. Unsure? What to expect

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. You rent the car shown, with its own photos and price. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup.

Typical renters

Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week. Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own.

Requirements

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

How it works

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

Make a request

When the dates are set, a request gets you a real price.
