Shopping for a car in Five Points

If you are looking for a car to buy, the honest answer first: CarmaCars does not offer it, but a rental can help along the way. We are happy to point you in the right direction, and to rent you a similar car to try. Tell us the car you are looking for and we will help where we can, and you can rent a similar car first.

Rent it before you buy it

If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car?

What to check before you buy

Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up.

While you shop

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed.

CarmaCars and Five Points

CarmaCars works from Toronto. There is no CarmaCars branch in Five Points. The straight-line distance from central Toronto to Five Points is about 1,933 km, and we deliver within about 80 km.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you want to check something for Five Points, send a request; a person replies honestly. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
