Trade In in Five Points

Here is the honest answer for buyers: CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells. We do not buy cars or take trade-ins. If you would rather keep your car and have it earn, our owner program rents it out for you.

Try it for a week first

Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most.

Questions to ask

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.

Before your next car arrives

Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed.
