Certified Pre-Owned in Unity, TX

Before you buy in Unity

People searching for certified pre-owned sometimes find us. We are a rental company, and here is how that helps. Shop for the car anywhere you like, and rent the same model from us first if we have it. We are happy to point you in the right direction, and to rent you a similar car to try.

Drive it like you own it

If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

Checks worth doing

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

Between cars

You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking.

Our area

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Unity. By straight line Unity is about 1,791 km from central Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 80 km delivery area.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. For buying in Unity, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Tell us what you are planning in Unity, and we will say what we can and cannot do. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
