A car for Java

Car Subscription in Java: CarmaCars is a Toronto company, so here is what we can and cannot do. Here is the short version: No subscription contract: rent month to month instead. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement, and you can stop at the end of any booking. Rates on this page start at $50 a day.

Renting from Toronto

You will not find a CarmaCars location in Java; we work from Toronto. The straight-line distance from central Toronto to Java is about 3,168 km, and we deliver within about 80 km.

If your trip to Java starts in Toronto, a car from us can cover the Toronto part of it. A rental can leave Ontario only with our written consent, agreed before you go. Questions about Java? Send a request and a person answers honestly. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.

Why a rental from us

Renting month to month means no long commitment and no buyout at the end. Each new agreement keeps the same simple terms as the first. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking. The request is free, so you can ask without committing.

When it makes sense

Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

Who qualifies

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

From your dates to the handover

You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

Over to you

The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
